State Fair

We went to the fair today, or as it's called here, the great Minnesota get-together. We usually go with our good friends Matt and Steph, but they weren't able to make it this year. We missed them a ton, but we'll see them there next year for sure, toting their little one. Maddie is due to arrive in just a few weeks. We can't wait to meet her! Emma and Maddie are going to be BFFs.

Anyway, back to the fair, we decided to go this morning since it was nice and cool. Before we left, TB and EB did some playing.


Then, off we went! Here are Emma and I about to walk in. She is trying to tell you how excited she is. Who doesn't love the fair?


TB was determined to find corn dog pizza right away. We found it and he loved it.


After we ate, we played some games. Here's TB trying to win Emma something.


And he won! Emma has a new piggy, cow, giraffe, and polar bear. As you can see, this was about the time Emma needed a little grub herself and a diaper change, so we headed in the direction of their awesome infant care center.


Happy as a clam, she then fell fast asleep. I think she's inherited TB's ability to fall asleep in any position.
